As you can see, there are three trailers, - much more indeed, but these three were especially distinct - and I inserted all, because there are many different scenes in them.
Frankly all of them are epic. They do everything that is expected from a good trailer. They reveal just enough to make me bounce in my chair, wanting to watch it at this very moment, but at the same time it's not enough to spoil anything. It's concise, and fast so that the viewer's attention won't languish, but not too fast so that we won't lose the thread either. Also they don't lie us. It's not going to be a piece of cake, it's deadly serious, nevertheless, the video is not depressing. (How could it be with that chemistry?) So if we can assum that the movie has the same atmosphere as the trailers, it'll be just like in the book.
We get the necessary information, so that a person who didn't read the book can understand it, too. Although we have to put it together from the three trailers. In the first, we learn that they have to choose between something what later they will belong to and in order to be able to decide what to choose, they have to take a test. Then there's a short scene from the inisiate training, which can be decieving for people who don't know the story. It looks as though it would be a part of the aptitution test, however it is not. But I love how the glass brakes when she touches it. It's so cool. Then back to the aptitution and we get to know the crucial information. She's different. The test didn't work on her. She's a Divergent. Things are getting more exciting in a second. The woman who executes the test tells her what to be a Divergent implies and that it's dangerous. Then scenes from the training follow, the fight, probably the first, against Peter and then when she takes over Al's place, Eric throws knives at her. They even paid attention to that Tris's head doesn't reach the center of the target. We obtain a lot of Four and Tris scenes after that and then parts that I haven't read yet, therefore I can't identify, but it lookes like an upcoming fight, and Four in trouble along with a few other people and then the famous and most intimate parts, and in the end the Ferris wheel and the sliding from the building.
In the second video we can see Caleb and Beatrice before the aptitute test, talking. Then we jump to the Divergent part, less elaborated now. The same case with the topic of how dangerous she is. It's not explained too long now, there's only one brief sentence, but that tells everything. The next scene we didn't see in the previous trailer that she gets abducted and then a few seconds later Four declares he won't let her get hurt. Seems like there are 'constant' scenes, like the wheel, and Four's tattoos, and the jump from the roof. These are present in every trailer.
In the third video, we find out more about this world's history, the war, tha factions, the aptitude test and then we are there, with her, and the dog. We can see the same scene about the inconclusive results. After that there are a few new scenes but none of them is more than a few seconds, although some of them are really intriguing.
